A very successful high profile Yale CEO Leadership Summit took place at the NYSE on June 5th. NYSE Euronext CEO Duncan Niederauer kicked off the event with Yale’s Founder of the CEO Leadership Summit and several participating CEOs from NYSE listed companies by Ringing the NYSE Opening Bell on Wednesday June 5th.

I attended a very successful Yale CEO Summit at the NYSE whose theme - “Staying Ahead of Economic Currents: Building an Enterprise for the Future Despite Present Day Uncertainties" - proved to be right on the mark. Founder and CEO of the Yale Chief Executive Leadership Institute Jeffrey Sonnenfeld did a fantastic job moderating the event and encouraging insightful discussions among CEOs.

The Summit started with NYSE CEO Duncan Niederauer warmly welcoming the group of over 100 participants at dinner in the historic NYSE Board Room. NYSE listed Verizon’s Chairman  & CEO Lowell McAdam and NYSE listed Xerox’s Former Chairman & CEO  Anne M. Mulcahy presented the prestigious “Legend In Leadership” Award to NYSE listed GE’s Chairman & CEO Jeffrey R. Immelt.
