Amsterdam Museum Celebrates 400 Years of Ties Between Turkey and the Netherlands

This year marks the 400th anniversary of the ties between Turkey and the Netherlands. The Amsterdam museum is opening three exhibitions highlighting the commercial connections between the two countries, entrepreneurship, and creativity.

The exhibition The Chamber of the Levant Trade. Dutch merchants and Ottoman Sultans will be opened by the president of Turkey, His Excellency Abdullah Gül, and attended by Her Majesty the Queen, Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima. The exhibition was set up in cooperation with Istanbul’s Pera Museum. Recep Bans Kibns sounds the gong to celebrate the opening of the exhibitions.
