Voxeljet, German 3D Printing Company. Lists on NYSEToday, Voxeljet (NYSE: VJET) celebrated its IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. The IPO priced at $13, opened at $20, and continued to rise as high as $29.06, until it closed at $27.38, more than doubling its IPO price.

Voxeljet joins a growing list of new tech IPOs from Europe - other recent names include AVG, Fleetmatics, Interxion and Sequans. The listing is part of a larger general trend that has seen 25 listings from Europe, Middle East and Africa region – especially tech and industrials – over the past 36 months.

The specs for Voxeljet’s products are on the cutting edge:

  • Voxeljet’s largest printer can handle sizes of 4 by 2 by 1 meters; more than 6 times the volume of the next largest commercially available printer.
