This certainty provided a positive boost for the market, kicking off four days of market highs.

Global Stimulus Plans

ECB President Mario Draghi said the central bank discussed QE/monetary stimulus (similar to the Fed in the U.S.) in an effort to boost the economy. China also unveiled a "mini-stimulus" to increase consumption with additional spending on railways, upgraded housing for low-income households and tax relief for struggling small...

Ahead of the Bell: Dow futures are trading up 26 points and S&P futures are trading up 3 points.  The focus today will be on the March Jobs numbers after the European Central Bank opened the door to more aggressive monetary easing. Market participants are expecting the numbers to point to a strong showing, while economists are forecasting that the private sector created 200K jobs last month versus 175K in February, the fastest pace in four months. The unemployment rate is expected to dip to 6.6% from 6.7%. Traders, however worry that a much stronger employment reading might not be so positive for the markets as it could reignite speculation of an sooner interest rate hike from the Federal Reserve.According to the ECB, the agency is now starting to seriously consider the kind of aggressive bond-buying program used by other central banks, including the US, Japan, and Britain.
