The director of Science Center NEMO, Michiel Buchel, sounds the gong to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Dutch science museum.
Over the past 90 years, NEMO has stimulated many generations to take a closer look at Science and Technology. Not only in the museum, but also by reaching out to schools through special projects. NEMO is the Netherlands’ largest science center and welcomes visitors of all ages. In NEMO, a broad public gets to actively experience how fascinating, fun and useful science and technology can be. The Science Center offers a wide range of learning programs, exhibitions, activities and events. Today, this national Science Center welcomes 550,000 visitors a year, placing it among the top 5 Dutch museums.
