Opening and Closing Bell on Wall Street
DuPont Fabros (NYSE-Listed DFT) visits the NYSE to celebrate the opening of the new and fully operational SFTI® Access Center in its Piscataway, NJ data center, NJ1. In honor of the occasion, CEO Hossein Fateh rings The Closing BellSM.
The new SFTI Access Center in NJ1 offers full service and support for NYSE Technologies customers utilizing the Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure® (SFTI®) network, including direct low latency SFTI Optic connectivity to the Liquidity Center in Mahwah. NYSE Technologies chose the DFT facility for its optimal location, providing proximity to multiple fiber optic communication network providers that service the greater New York and Chicago geographies.
SFTI is the financial industry's most secure and resilient network that provides over 1,300 financial market participants with a single point of connectivity to multiple exchanges, market centers and content service providers around the world. Providing lowest latency access to NYSE Euronext Equities and Derivatives markets and a host of non-NYSE Euronext global execution venues, SFTI was built specifically for electronic trading and market data transmission with the goal of enabling firms to reduce their time-to-market, improve their performance and significantly lower the cost of their high performance trading infrastructure.
DuPont Fabros President and Chief Executive Officer, Hossein Fateh, joined by members of the company's management team, will ring the NYSE Closing Bell. To learn more about the SFTI Access Center in the DuPont Fabros NJ1 facility, please click here: http://www.nyse.com/press/1312365391175.html
