About 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE: DDD)

3D Systems invented the first 3D printing technology 25 years ago, launching a revolution in product development across every marketplace from transportation, recreation and healthcare to consumer goods and education. Through continued innovation, the company developed a comprehensive menu of 3D printers and services and a rich patent portfolio extending its technology leadership. Today, 3D Systems content-to print solutions are transforming entire industries as users are transitioning these powerful tools from new product design and rapid prototyping to the rapid manufacture of end use parts and custom products.  The challenging economic climate experienced over the past couple  years presented the company with an opportunity to evolve and expand its business model. In connection with this business model innovation phase the company executed some 17 well-timed, disciplined and accretive acquisitions, recasting its business model from a supplier of of 3D printers to a provider of comprehensive 3D content-to-print solutions, reaching thousands of new users and effectively doubling its recurring revenues run-rate while improving its earnings.

Today with more than half of its revenue generated outside North America and key growth initiatives that include extending its geographic reach and targeting highly underpenetrated industrial and consumer opportunities, the migration to the NYSE complements the company’s growth strategy, and is well aligned with its brand equity and public and investor relations goals. This move underscores 3D Systems commitment to democratize access and accelerate adoption of its products and services for the benefit of professionals, consumers and stockholders alike.

The company plans to demonstrate the essence, power and utility of its 3D content-to-print solutions at the NYSE in room 630 by inviting all reporters and guests to “become their own souvenir” instantly.
