I recently wrote a piece on an interesting new corporate governance idea - square root voting.

For those new to the topic, "Square root voting answers the question of whether value is increased from the proposal. It makes sure that the vote is approved if and only if it increases value; everyone buys shares representing their willingness to pay for the project being voted on so the vote result will reflect the intensity of their preference. There are no arbitrary rules, such as once someone acquires 15% they’re cut in half."
