NYSE Joins the 2011 IP Business Congress in San Francisco

Close to 500 delegates from around the world descended on San Francisco this week for the 2011 International Business Congress, the world’s preeminent conference focusing on the dynamics of IP value creation. Attendees included representatives from companies such as SAP, Microsoft, Twitter, Google, as well as venture investors, leading law professionals and federal judges.

The conference also included the IP Hall of Fame Gala Dinner. During the dinner the following individuals were inducted into the IP Hall of Fame for 2011:

o   Robert Armitage, Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY)

o   Lynne Beresford, former US Patent and Trademark Office Commissioner for Trademarks

o   Donald Chisum, Author, Chisum on Patents

o   Randall Rader, Chief Judge of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit

o   Tian Lipu, Commissioner of China’s State Intellectual Property Office
