BNP Paribas Launches Yield Certificates

BNP Paribas is launching a new investment product on NYSE Euronext: the Yield Certificate.

Yield Certificates (Rendement Certificaten) are an alternative to direct investment in shares because they can provide a fixed return, even if the price of the underlying investment is stagnate or showing a moderate decline. BNP Paribas has already successfully launched Yield Certificates in other European countries, including Germany, where the product now claims a large share of the market.
