Habitat for Humanity Celebrates "100 Homes in Brooklyn"

Habitat for Humanity - New York City visited the NYSE. The bell ringing celebrated their new “100 Homes in Brooklyn” initiative.

Habitat-NYC is now building more homes than ever before for hardworking families in need.  “100 Homes in Brooklyn” is an initiative to build or renovate affordable homes in Bedford-Stuyvesant and Ocean Hill-Brownsville, communities hit hard by the foreclosure crisis. In honor of the occasion, David Terveen, Member of the Habitat-NYC Board, rang The Opening BellSM.
