Clarke Dryden Camper is Senior Vice President, Head of Government Affairs and Public Advocacy at NYSE Euronext, a leading global operator of financial markets.
Camper is host of a monthly video on the NYX homepage, Wall Street and Washington with Clarke Camper, and is a featured blogger on exchanges.nyx.com. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events.
Camper joined NYSE Euronext in 2009. Prior to that he was with General Electric, holding positions as Global Head of Government Relations at GE Capital (2008-2009) and Global Head of Government Relations at GE Money, the retail banking arm of GE (2004-2008). Camper headed Congressional Relations at Freddie Mac from 2000-2004, and practiced law with the firm of Morrison & Foerster from 1995-2000. Prior to that, Camper worked for then-Representative Charles E. Schumer of New York.
Camper holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a Master in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, and an A.B. in Public Policy from Stanford University. He resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland with his wife, Naomi, and their three children ages 10, 8 and 6.
