Filmmaker and Storm Chaser Sean Casey and Tornado Alley producer Don Kempf visits the NYSE. In honor of the occasion, Sean Casey and Don Kempf ring The Closing BellSM.


Tornado Alley chronicles Sean Casey’s (Discovery’s Storm Chasers) unprecedented eight-year mission to take audiences inside of one of Earth’s most awe-inspiring events – inside an actual Tornado – in the most heart-pounding adventure to ever hit giant screens.   Armed with a 70mm camera, a fleet of customized vehicles designed to withstand gale force winds (including the revolutionary “Tornado Intercept Vehicle”) and an arsenal of the most advanced weather measurement instruments ever created, Sean Casey and the Tornado Researchers of Vortex 2 risk their lives to take audiences on a thrilling quest to witness, for the first time ever,  a tornado’s destructive power at point blank range.  Currently playing in the New York area at the Museum of Natural History and the Liberty Science Center.  Trailer available at:

Sean’s Tornado Intercept Vehicle (aka the TIV) will be parked outside in front of the New York Stock Exchange.  This is the actual vehicle used to drive through tornadoes in the film.
